Baldhead at Gander

The organization of this day's stages meant pictures couldn't be taken until the last stage of the day - Gander. This stage was the most fun - and us having third-fastest time handicapped (fourth-fastest absolute time) has nothing to do with it.

The start showed clearing skies. It was sunny by the time of our run.

These stock factory rims are boring.

The event had the polite fiction that it was a performance rally. Just as in a "real" rally, cars had to stay outside controls (the yellow sign) until their appointed minute, and co-driver's had to walk in with time cards if the car was blocked. It is hoped that next year, either the event will be sanctioned as a "real" rally, or such need for timing perfection will be done away with in favour of a more relaxed event.

A typical corner in the Gander stage. The crowd is at the local mini-mart.

Turning into the corner, we go through a crescent, and rejoin this road.

The car is just visible coming back onto the road.

Back onto the road.

Winding into the next corner.
