Touring Class at Holyrood
Cars in Touring Class did not have to meet the strict safety requirements set down for the other Targa participants, and thus attracted participants who did not want to put rollover protection in their vehicle. Touring class was run as a TSD-like event.

The Porsche 911 Targa (of course). Driven by Automobile Magazine contributor Roald Ahrens and Dave Menzies from the National Post. This was a Porsche Cars of North America press car in box-stock form with Michelin Tires. Overkill in the Touring class, it could have challenged for the overall win if it had the appropriate safety equipment.
