Baldhead Racing at the Show - the Case of the Runny Decals

Mike Rouleau, a graphic artist who belongs to the Motorsports Club of Ottawa, designed our team logo. We had decals made, and were going to put them on a couple weeks before the event. When the time came, the decals ran - they weren't waterproof! We had to leave to catch the ferry, but Karen Hamm (pictured) stayed behind and got the re-made decals. That meant she had to put them on the car at the car show, attracting a sizeable audience.

Besides our team decals, Karen had to put on the official and event sponsor decals.

I'm not sleeping! I'm exasperated. We never had the car fully loaded with spares and tools until the show, and it is clear that a full load is too much weight. I am going through our stuff, trying to decide what is absolutely necessary for a breakdown I know nothing about and don't want to happen. My choices were tested during the rally. Every day of the rally.

The decal is on! Looks good, don't you think?

Oblivious to the show around him, Jim concentrates on co-driver stuff. Should he be disturbed?

Um, that would be no. We were so busy getting ready that night, we missed all the social events ...
